JESUS SAYS REJOICE AND THE UNTHINKABLE REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD

Shortly after He had risen, Jesus Christ met a group of women who at the time were not sure, not even now that the leader had been killed, of so many things that would take place along their newly found path which was introduced to them by a young man who didn’t only come from a poor family, but also from a poor tribe which as far as priesthood was concerned, the unthinkable, but who showed them through manifestation of power and authority over anything and situation that the path was indeed the path of life they’ve been waiting for.

He was dead. There was a grave silence. The darkness that seemed to have gone appeared thicker. Now what? Will our fate also be as of those followers of Theudas or Judas of Galilee too? (Acts 5:36-37), or What? The faithful followers were silently asking themselves. Some were even thinking that they had gone too far following him. Fear was everywhere. Nobody dare talk so loudly of these things. All the Apostles were hidden somewhere only known to the people of their circle. No one had the confidence and boldness to declare that crucified sinless young man as the awaiting Saviour of the world, the Controller-General of the universe, the Lord of Lords, and the true Beloved of God. Lots of them were in deep agony and acrimony of not knowing how to go about solutions to their known and unknown problems in the new path they have turned to. They needed a worthy leader as the original leader to teach them what to do. Just as many Christians in the world today are thirsting for answers to so many questions and solutions to lots of problems through the prescribed means of Christianity. Just then, while some of them, who were probably restless and believed that everything would be alright if their leader would rise just as he had claimed he would while still with them, were going to his tomb, he met them on the way and the only single word our Lord Jesus Christ utters is REJOICE!, (Matthew 28:9).

And here I am, echoing the same word to you, REJOICE. I don’t know what you are facing and don’t know how tough the battle is for you, but I tell you REJOICE. I don’t know if you or somebody close to you is facing death right now, but I tell you REJOICE, especially if you are a believer or ready to declare Jesus Christ your Lord and Saviour right now.

BUT WHY SHOULD I REJOICE?
But why should we rejoice with so many terrible things are happening around us and even to us and our loved ones? Let us consider the following as what our Lord Jesus Christ means when He says to us REJOICE:
·     Jesus Christ means to say is that, “Nobody would have been able to speak in your favour and intercede for you in the presence of the Father whenever you fail to obey the Father and fall short of His glory. But now I’ve tested what it means to live on earth, I was dead and I’m alive, therefore, I can speak in your favour and intercede for you, so REJOICE. Hebrews 2:14-18. Romans 8:31-34.
·      He means to say, “You wouldn’t have been sure of assurance of life at the end of this sure path of life that you have chosen and that could make your journey difficult and enjoyable. But look, I was dead, and now I’m alive and that’s sure evidence that you have chosen rightly, no matter what happens to you along the path, don’t doubt. Many terrible things will happen to you there, just REJOICE as you stay faithful. 1 Corinthians 15:12-20. Romans 8:9-11. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.
·       Another thing Jesus means to say is that, “Nothing could you have done to make the Father release His Spirit and leaves Him with you. But now, I am alive having died, and I am going back to the Father and speak to Him as an evidence that His Spirit will be saved with you as your Helper, so REJOICE. Genesis 6:1-3. John 16:5-7. Ephesians 4:30.
·   Finally, but not the least of what our Lord Jesus Christ means to say is that, “Whatever I am qualified for now in the kingdom of our Father, because I am alive as a faithful Son, you also can have – everything. Everything. Just remain faithful, knowing fully well that you have better possessions, not necessarily in this world, but in another place. Though you will face a lot of challenges here, but you can have everything. Just everything, so REJOICE. Ephesians 1:3-14. Romans 8:14-17. Hebrews 11:1-40. Matthew 19:16-30.

Therefore, my brethren, whatever the situation is right now, I say to you with our Lord Jesus Christ, REJOICE.

THE REAL MEANING OF SCHOOL

Issue of school in regards to its meaning is one of the modern topic amongst educationists. While school is described in a layman term just as a place of learning; it is professionally described as an organized environment for formal education – which means education that follows certain processes. And the features of school, as it is being often mentioned, include: school authority and staff, classrooms, laboratories and libraries, textbooks and lesson notes, students, tables and chairs, various buildings and offices, ink or chalk boards and other materials of instruction. But school, in the real sense, is more than all that have been mentioned as the major features; my description of school is simply a place of getting additional knowledge to one's own natural knowledge. Therefore, the real features of a school is everything and anything that contributes to the growth of one's knowledge, causes the expansion of one's mind, increases one's intelligence quotient, ...

THE SECRET DEEDS OF JESUS CHRIST THAT MADE HIM GREAT (Part 1)

As Christians who wants to become as great as Jesus Christ on earth and in heavens, just as our Father in heaven desires, Romans 8:29, and which shows that it is very possible to become like Him, we cannot be so by categoring mainly on His backgrounds as reason for His greatness in any sense. If it is for His backgrounds that God says we should focus and listen to Him for us to be great, then we cannot be like Him in any way, because our mothers were not virgin before and after they gave birth to us. They were probably virgins before they knew our fathers, but never after they came across our fathers - the connection that preceded our conceptions. And for that, every other thing has no value in itself as for us to become like Jesus Christ in comparison to backgrounds. Read the introduction to this series Therefore, when God instructs us to focus on Jesus Christ, He is telling us to pay attention to what Jesus did and how He did it. It is in that we have our road map to h...

THE EVILS THAT HAPPEN TO THE GOOD SAMARITAN

As Christians in this present generation, we tend to question God why He allows evil in someone else situation and good in another, especially someone we might consider 'underserved'. Such judgement is not sentimental, I will say, rather a result of our inability to understand the indepth of God's sovereignty and His declared words. What kind of things that happens in today society to the good 'ones'; 'why him or her?' And 'why not him or her?' We could argue the issue passionately and with good different points of view that could cast down any other plausible argument concerning the situation. And as such, some people's minds, and ultimately their faith could shrink back from their sincere service and worship to God and to Christ Jesus, our saviour, because of the things that happen to the good Samaritan, who deserves care and love and, even to some extents to be worshipped. But the truth of the two kinds of situation - good and bad ...

GOD NEEDS YOUR WEAKNESS

By Charlene Nelson on desiringGod.com Suffering has shown me that my strength is not in me. The raging seas have made me cling to the rock of my salvation. I can say in full conviction, “If the Lord had not been my help, my soul would soon have lived in the land of silence. When I thought ‘My foot slips’ your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up (Psalm 94:17–18).” God has shown me my own weakness through debilitating pain — fibromyalgia and severe pelvic separation during two pregnancies, as well as years of anemia causing brutal fatigue. I now not only know my weakness, but I feel it acutely. In the past year, though I had earnestly believed it was time for some relief, God brought me even lower when I was diagnosed with a stomach tumor, waded through follow up tests, and underwent surgery. The Secret to Suffering As a mom of two children under school age, walking through these trials has been unspeakably difficult. But during this recent cancer scare it was, perhaps, the f...
