BECOME LIKE JESUS CHRIST: WHY AND HOW?

To achieve all your heart desires of any kind as a Christian you must become like Jesus Christ. Becoming like Jesus Christ is not the same thing as achieving the exact things that Jesus Christ achieved on earth, in earth and in heaven. Our aims and objectives in this earth are not the same.
Aims, objectives and purposes are comparative in nature depending on individual. What you want and whatever has been assigned for you to achieve in this single life might never be found among many achievements of Jesus Christ.
So you may say you don't want to raise the dead, walk on the sea, still the storms, open the blind eye, cure diseases, etc. But you just want to build houses, buy vehicle of various designs, have godly family, and of course live a peaceful and lovely and befitting life with everyone around you. And of a truth, you can live just that and be welcomed into the glorious home of the Trinity in heaven with shout of joy. Note: anything that glorifies God is a miracle. If your 'simple' lifestyle draws people to the Kingdom, such a lifestyle is a miracle.

This is just Job's kind of lifestyle and of which even heaven counted him among the most righteous men of all time, Ezekiel 14:14. It is never a sin to desire such things and to live just that lifestyle, even though Jesus Christ "the author and finisher of our faith" never in the physical manifestation achieved such.

Achieving what Jesus achieved is not what it means to become like Him. When Holy Spirit is talking about Jesus Christ and His achievement through the author of the book of Hebrews in chapter 12:2, He said, "who for the joy set before him endured the cross..." He didn't say, "Joy set before all of you," but "before Him." Which means we all have different kinds of joy that have been set before us individually.
If anybody tells you that you must cast out demons, heal the sick, or perform any kind of miracles to enter heaven, tell the person, he or she is liar and the devil incarnate.
So what does it means to become like Jesus Christ in this life? To become like Jesus Christ simply means to do what Jesus Christ did to achieve all that He achieved while on earth. And that is the only way to achieve your goals, whatever it is, on earth as a Christian.

It is only in the world that a different way is for a different purpose. Not in the kingdom of God. You want to be a doctor, then you must start thinking as a doctor, walk as a doctor, read books about being a doctor. If you read books about being a lawyer, you are completely on the wrong for that is a way for those who want to be lawyers; different route for different purpose.
But in the kingdom of God, there is only one way that leads to thousand ends. The same way for them who desire to be miracle workers to walk is the same way to walk by them who only desire to have the best partners as husbands or wives.
There is no any other way. If it requires a seven-day fasting to get miraculous working power, it means it requires the same number of days for fasting to get the very best job. All are miracles. And all direct attentions to our Father in heaven. The different kinds of joy set before each of us as Christians require the same sacrifice and procedures, especially if we must attain the highest level of it.

So becoming like Jesus Christ is not in walking on the sea, raising a dead of four days, feeding five thousand people with a loaf of bread, etc., but doing what He did that enabled Him to achieve His own 'set joy' and desires because that's exactly what you and I also need to do to achieve our own 'set joy' and desires, whatever is it. That's why we must become like Jesus Christ, our saviour.

We must become like Him in righteousness and holiness, in obedience and humility, in love and peace, in kindness and compassion, in diligence and commitment, in patience and endurance, in patriotism and goodness, in faith and trust, in self-control and godliness, in perseverance and consistency, in prayer and fasting. God says,

"For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. [9] But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. [10] Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: [11] For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ." 2 Peter 1:8-11.

THE REAL MEANING OF SCHOOL

Issue of school in regards to its meaning is one of the modern topic amongst educationists. While school is described in a layman term just as a place of learning; it is professionally described as an organized environment for formal education – which means education that follows certain processes. And the features of school, as it is being often mentioned, include: school authority and staff, classrooms, laboratories and libraries, textbooks and lesson notes, students, tables and chairs, various buildings and offices, ink or chalk boards and other materials of instruction. But school, in the real sense, is more than all that have been mentioned as the major features; my description of school is simply a place of getting additional knowledge to one's own natural knowledge. Therefore, the real features of a school is everything and anything that contributes to the growth of one's knowledge, causes the expansion of one's mind, increases one's intelligence quotient,

THE SECRET DEEDS OF JESUS CHRIST THAT MADE HIM GREAT (Part 1)

As Christians who wants to become as great as Jesus Christ on earth and in heavens, just as our Father in heaven desires, Romans 8:29, and which shows that it is very possible to become like Him, we cannot be so by categoring mainly on His backgrounds as reason for His greatness in any sense. If it is for His backgrounds that God says we should focus and listen to Him for us to be great, then we cannot be like Him in any way, because our mothers were not virgin before and after they gave birth to us. They were probably virgins before they knew our fathers, but never after they came across our fathers - the connection that preceded our conceptions. And for that, every other thing has no value in itself as for us to become like Jesus Christ in comparison to backgrounds. Read the introduction to this series Therefore, when God instructs us to focus on Jesus Christ, He is telling us to pay attention to what Jesus did and how He did it. It is in that we have our road map to h

THE EVILS THAT HAPPEN TO THE GOOD SAMARITAN

As Christians in this present generation, we tend to question God why He allows evil in someone else situation and good in another, especially someone we might consider 'underserved'. Such judgement is not sentimental, I will say, rather a result of our inability to understand the indepth of God's sovereignty and His declared words. What kind of things that happens in today society to the good 'ones'; 'why him or her?' And 'why not him or her?' We could argue the issue passionately and with good different points of view that could cast down any other plausible argument concerning the situation. And as such, some people's minds, and ultimately their faith could shrink back from their sincere service and worship to God and to Christ Jesus, our saviour, because of the things that happen to the good Samaritan, who deserves care and love and, even to some extents to be worshipped. But the truth of the two kinds of situation - good and bad

GOD NEEDS YOUR WEAKNESS

By Charlene Nelson on desiringGod.com Suffering has shown me that my strength is not in me. The raging seas have made me cling to the rock of my salvation. I can say in full conviction, “If the Lord had not been my help, my soul would soon have lived in the land of silence. When I thought ‘My foot slips’ your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up (Psalm 94:17–18).” God has shown me my own weakness through debilitating pain — fibromyalgia and severe pelvic separation during two pregnancies, as well as years of anemia causing brutal fatigue. I now not only know my weakness, but I feel it acutely. In the past year, though I had earnestly believed it was time for some relief, God brought me even lower when I was diagnosed with a stomach tumor, waded through follow up tests, and underwent surgery. The Secret to Suffering As a mom of two children under school age, walking through these trials has been unspeakably difficult. But during this recent cancer scare it was, perhaps, the f
