WHAT IS THINKING?
Thinking is like digging down into the ground to see the different layers of it. It is a way of turning a stream of knowledge to an ocean of knowledge. It is a way of multiplying or increasing knowledge. It is also a way of polishing knowledge. It is also a way of breaking down knowledge. It is like when you are breaking a big stone to many pieces of stone. It is also a way of putting different pieces of knowledge in their right places or putting many different pieces of knowledge of the same relation together through selection.
HOW DO I DO THINKING
Jesus Christ gives us a clear description of how thinking goes. Bible describes Jesus as the word of God that became flesh, that is, human being. Therefore, that gives the idea that Jesus Christ is a word of God to humanity to think about and to focus on.
So when Jesus talks about how thinking should be done, He says, “…unless you EAT the FLESH of the son of man…you have no life in you.” This is a great analogy and insight on how thinking is done. It is like chewing food in your mouth – from solid to succulent. In that manner, but rather than chewing food, you chew words, ideas, or any information (knowledge) that you have perceived. And rather than in your mouth you chew it in your mind. And that is why sitting quietly or taking simple trek in silent is required for effective thinking. And thinking is not just sitting down without having something you want to think about; just as you don’t chew without first put something in the mouth. There must be a capital idea you want to think about.
So many synonyms and group of words are used to describe the idea of thinking; such words include: meditate, cherish, reflect on, turn over, have in mind, dwell upon, eat one’s heart out, entertain idea, fix attention, pour it on, sweat over, care about deeply, etc. all these groups of words explain thinking process.
And the result of thinking is like that of chewing food in the mouth whereby a morsel turns many pieces of the same single morsel. When you think about an idea, (especially when you press your own Intelligent Quotient Accelerator) it turns to pieces in your mind and it will look as if it is being multiplied; indeed, most times an idea gets multiplied, that is, other things you do not know before begins to manifest or knowledge that does not clear to you before can just become clearer. Now when something you do not know before starts coming into your mind, it means you are connected to The Unseen Utmost and Infinite Knowledgeable, The Source of all Sources of Knowledge, The All-Knowing God.
That is the most used source of knowledge for the people in the third category under Intelligent Quotient by which they often get the titles, such as; inventors, discoverers, innovators, originators, initiators, and original thinkers – title that means they are the one who first perceive the knowledge originally from God, rather than reading about it in books or by listening to people or by looking at things which are in their environment. These other sources are also very good – they often stand as a base for the knowledge or idea you want to think about, but they are secondary to God as sources of knowledge because it is those original thinkers that write books, become speakers and make things exist around us. The major reason most people who make the secondary sources their only sources do not become better personalities is that they do not often think about the knowledge after acquired it; they just acquire the knowledge and either agree with it or blindly reject it.
Friend, it is always better to acquire knowledge through the secondary sources, but it is always the best to acquire it from God through thinking; it is from Him ‘most people that have changed the world and still contributing to its course got and still getting their knowledge from. He is the True Source for all World Changers and Difference Makers!
Here is what Cecilia Payne-Gaposchkin, the Pioneering Astrophysicist who discovered the composition of the Universe, said many years ago about acquiring knowledge directly from God whom she called 'Fountain-Head'.
(There are those — and I am one of them — who rebel at having to deal with an intermediary. They want to go to the fountain-head. Someone who knows me well says that science, to me, has been a religious experience. He is probably right. If my religious passion had been turned toward the Catholic Church I should have wanted to be a priest. I am sure that I should never have settled for being a nun. If it had been directed toward medicine, I should have wanted to be a surgeon; nothing would have persuaded me to be content to be a nurse. As I look over the world of science, I picture most of the many women who are working in that field today in the role of nuns and nurses. They are not allowed — they are not supposed to be fit — to be in direct touch with the fountain-head, whether you call it God or the Universe. (But even as I write, this situation is changing.) Here I have had no cause for complaint. I have always been in direct touch with the fountain-head. No other mortal has made my intellectual decisions for me. I may have been underpaid, I may have occupied subordinate positions for many years, but my source of inspiration has always been direct.)

Nevertheless, it is important you understand the difference between thinking and worry. Thinking is progressive and way-forward oriented, while worry is retrogressive and backward in nature. Thinking looks for solution; worry keeps looking at the problem. Thinking is mostly positive; worry is mostly negative. Thinking frees your mind; worry clouds and darkens your mind. Thinking makes you happen; worry makes you sad.
Friend, I have taken the pain to provide you with this map-like writing to the source of knowledge and have given you the keys to enter its reservoir and have taught you how to acquire it when you get there. You are chosen to change the world to better and all that you need…KNOWLEDGE! So go ahead and deliver your generation.
