THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF EDUCATION YOU SHOULD KNOW

As a part of what you need to know before going to higher institution for you to achieve the very best in your education, I have taken this extract from my book "The Radical Road Map for Undergraduates to help you avoid the mistake that many graduates and undergraduates made and which has reduced many to unemployable graduates in society. So bear this in mind as you are preparing for university.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF EDUCATION
This may sound funny to many, but indeed there are different kinds of education, about seven kinds, in every society. It was after I had finished from college did I realize this when I sought for a job in an aspect I didn’t have the education, and I was rejected.

So there are about seven types of education in every society which will be good if you can acquire a little knowledge about each aside your major, namely:

           Literate education
           Spiritual education
           Specialized education
           Security education
           Financial education
           Computer education
           Human education
  • Literate education: Literate education is a type of education that only educates people on how to write and read. This kind of education probably helps you to know how to access information and instruction given in the other types of education.
  • Spiritual education: Don’t be perplexed, there is spiritual education and that is why an academic professor who never acquires this kind of education cannot just pick up any Holy books or any other instrument used in this institution and start functioning as he or she ought to. This kind of education teaches you about morals that keep society in order and in connection with spiritual beings around.
  • Specialized Education: This is a kind of education that produces specialized knowledge for special sectors of the society. Some may claim this is also a literate education, but it is never so, though every job has professionalism in it. An academic or a pastor or security man cannot just take a syringe and start injecting a patient, and a medical doctor can’t just pick up a screw-driver or pliers and start dismantling an engine. This education requires special skills and that is why it is called specialized education. Some can be acquired somewhere else, rather than school.
  • Security education: This is an education that has to do with protection of society. Do you notice that being the very best in other types of education cannot qualify anybody to take up a position in this sector unless that person undergoes training as required? There are jobs here even for those with knowledge from other types of education, but the fact is without the knowledge required by the sector it is unlikely to enter the service.
  • Financial education: There is nobody employed into this sector without being trained on how to go about money management. There is no amount of knowledge one might have acquired in all other types of education that can give them proper understanding in regard to cash flow, except they acquire this type of education; not necessary in detains. This is reason banks specially retrain their new employees and sponsor the old ones for conferences and seminars.
  • Computer education: This type of education has now become prominent and highly important in this modern society because other types of education are up to 55% depends on it for their proper functionality.
  • Human education: This is an education for the psychologists, and counsellors. People with this type of education are concerned with other people’s wellness. They are human managers and that is the reason it is also referred as human management education.
These are the groups to which all professions in the society are divided into. Therefore, know the kind of education you really want and go for it. All these types of education have professionalism on their own.

Do not be too wise or be in haste to get admission. It is never how fast, it is how well. Always remember that some who once rushed to get admission sometime ago have nothing to show for it now. The problem is never institutional based, but personality based. Wait for the right choice!

HOW TO GET YOUR IDEAS SPREAD

By Seth Godin on TED 2003. I'm going to give you four specific examples, I'm going to cover at the end about how a company called Silk tripled their sales; how an artist named Jeff Koons went from being a nobody to making a whole bunch of money and having a lot of impact; to how Frank Gehry redefined what it meant to be an architect. And one of my biggest failures as a marketer in the last few years -- a record label I started that had a CD called "Sauce." Before I can do that I've got to tell you about sliced bread, and a guy named Otto Rohwedder. Now, before sliced bread was invented in the 1910s I wonder what they said? Like the greatest invention since the telegraph or something. But this guy named Otto Rohwedder invented sliced bread, and he focused, like most inventors did, on the patent part and the making part. And the thing about the invention of sliced bread is this -- that for the first 15 years after sliced bread was available no one bought it;

THE REAL MEANING OF SCHOOL

Issue of school in regards to its meaning is one of the modern topic amongst educationists. While school is described in a layman term just as a place of learning; it is professionally described as an organized environment for formal education – which means education that follows certain processes. And the features of school, as it is being often mentioned, include: school authority and staff, classrooms, laboratories and libraries, textbooks and lesson notes, students, tables and chairs, various buildings and offices, ink or chalk boards and other materials of instruction. But school, in the real sense, is more than all that have been mentioned as the major features; my description of school is simply a place of getting additional knowledge to one's own natural knowledge. Therefore, the real features of a school is everything and anything that contributes to the growth of one's knowledge, causes the expansion of one's mind, increases one's intelligence quotient,

HOW TO DETOXIFY THE YOUNG MINDS FROM INDOCTRINATION

By Wole Soyinka for thehighereducation.com A few years ago, I had reached the stage of despair over the deterioration of the university system in my own country, Nigeria, under successive regimes of both civilian and military orders. Even the basic, campus social life had broken down, a condition that I tried to summarise in the title of a public lecture that went: “Descent of barbarism and end of the collegial”. Educational standards had plummeted so low that the word “illiteracy” had become current within – not only outside – the ivory towers, leading Unesco to classify Nigeria as one of the nine countries that together accounted for 70 per cent of the globe’s illiterate population. We do not need to be reminded that primary and secondary education form the base material for the intellectual quality of intakes into the tertiary institution. When deterioration in those two tiers is compounded by the fact that those tertiaries indulged in any excuse to foment strikes by facul

HOW TO HAVE YOUR INTELLIGENT QUOTIENT INCREASED

WHAT IS INTELLIGENT QUOTIENT ACCELERATOR? If intelligence means the activity or working of the brain to perceive and intelligent quotient means the speed at which the brain works in perceiving, then intelligent quotient accelerator means something that increases that speed from certain level of perceiving to higher level of perceiving. Some facts you should know about knowledge in relation to intelligence include the fact that it is knowledge which determines intelligence due to its (knowledge’s) diversity. Diversity in this context refers to the fact that different kind of activities requires their different individual knowledge. For instance, there are different kinds of knowledge for different sport activities; there is another one for different scientific workings; there is another one for cooking, etc. for as many activities you can mention, each has its own knowledge. Now the kind of activity or profession or subject that fits a person's natural endeavor or that in
